NATIONAL: American Idol Starts To Reveal The Top 24!

Wednesday’s “American Idol” revealed more than half of season 11′s Top 24.

Fourteen singers, six male and eight female, received the good news after impressing the judges with their final solo performances.

Among those moving forward to next week’s semifinals are early favorites Reed Grimm and Phillip Phillips, as well as repeat contestant Baylie Brown.

Others, however, were left brokenhearted when the judges revealed they would not get to continue in the competition.

Among those eliminated were Lauren Gray, who Jennifer Lopez previously said had “one of the best voices.”

The rest of the Top 24, including the fate of Adam Brock, which was teased just as the episode ended, will be revealed on Thursday.
