VIDEO: Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey Christmas
Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey’s remake of Carey’s 1994 hit, “All I Want For Christmas,” was recently released and the video which features Carey showing off her post baby body in a sexy Santa dress and Bieber and his friends looking for the latest video games seemed harmless. But now viewers are speaking out about a few racy moments in the video which appear to be awkward as the 17 year-old Bieber appears to be flirting with the 41 year-old Carey. In addition to the awkward exchanges, the four minute plus video also plays like a full length Macy’s commercial. A viewer on VEVO wrote, “The undertones of this video is quite creepy actually, a 41 year old cougar dressed as a stripper Santa, and a 17 year old boy trying to act like a gangster. And product placement throughout. It makes Christmas a cringe worthy fest. What happen to traditional old Christmas?” Viewers who saw the video on NBC also had negative reactions. One wrote, “This video was highly inappropriate for the viewers of NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center. My husband & I were both appalled at seeing this on prime time tv for families. Most folks want heart-warming Christmas festivities, not sexy (verging on pedophilia) overtures.” Despite the negative feedbacks, Bieber has already accumulated over four hundred thousand likes for the clip on his fan page.
