GOSSIP: GAVIN DEGRAW UPDATE ON RECOVERY AFTER NY ATTACK!

Gavin DeGraw says he’s well on his way to recovery after being attacked earlier this month in New York City.  The singer-songwriter tells VH1 he’s “feeling much better,” but says it will still be a while before he’s 100-percent back.  DeGraw says he’s anxious to get back on the road after having to cancel a number of dates on his tour with Maroon 5 and Train.  He says he’s looking forward to seeing all his fans once he makes his return, which is scheduled for Wednesday, August 24th in Columbia, Maryland.  Gavin is also gearing up for the release of his new album, “Sweeter,” on September 20th.

Police say DeGraw was assaulted by a group of unknown men on August 7th.  He was reportedly hit by a cab as well, suffering a concussion, broken noise and several other cuts and bruises.  Police are investigating the attack.                      -MetroSource
