GOSSIP: Beyonce is not the Family Diva
Reports say that Beyonce‘s mom Tina Knowles acted like a diva on the set of Beyonce’s new video “Best Thing I Never Had.” According to The New York Daily News, the video was shot last week in Westchester County in New York on Wednesday (June 15th) and then Fort Greene, Brooklyn on Thursday (June 16th). An insider said that the four assistants that Tina had following her around were told to call her “Miss Tina.” The source told the newspaper, “The crew was told to call her ‘Miss Tina’ if they were to talk to her at all.”Her diva behavior really came out on Thursday, while a “prom scene” was being filmed at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple. Tina reportedly, “flipped out on the camera guys for making Beyonce stand near the extras for too long” because there was too much conversation going on between takes. Tina was reportedly “worried” the lowly extras would talk to her daughter.Beyonce wasn’t bothered at all, she “was fine with [talking to anyone] . . . and “making everyone laugh.” She was reportedly telling the cast and crew about not being prom queen in the video reminded her of how she was never prom queen in real life. An on-set source also told the newspaper that Beyonce thought it was “weird” that her dad didn’t escort her down the aisle in the wedding scene of the video. Bey’s dad Mathew Knowles actually walked herdown the aisle for her real wedding to Jay-Z back in 2008.
