Us Weekly reported that in addition to losing her license — the Jersey Shore star might be taken to court by the two police officers who suffered injuries in the accident. Italian law states that after injuring fellow motorists, one automatically loses their license to drive in the country. Snooki was driving a Fiat Multipla with costar Deena in the passenger seat when she bumped into the police car. Both officers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries like whiplash, cuts and bruises. A Florence police spokesperson said of the officers, “It was nothing serious and they have been released, but they will not be back at work for a week.” The officers have up to 90 days to decide whether to take civil action against Snooki. Jersey Shore executive producer Sally Ann Salsano — who is with the cast in Florence — downplayed the incident, telling us, [“It was a minor fender bender. Everyone’s going berserk but it’s a minor fender bender and everyone’s good.”] Salsano promised that cameras were rolling, and audiences will get to see the incident firsthand when Jersey Shore‘s fourth season eventually hits the air.   Since arriving in Italy three weeks ago, the Jersey Shore cast has already accumulated more than $400 worth of fines for various traffic violations.
