Katy Perry is reportedly suing an Australian tabloid for publishing a story that said she had an affair with her record producer, Benny Bianco. According to the Australian tabloid, NW, the singer had an affair with the producer after she married her husband, Russell Brand. Katy reportedly was hoping for an apology for the story but when it never came — she decided to take them to court. The singer filed the claim yesterday (April 28) in Melbourne, Australia, after landing there to perform. The singer is suing the tabloid for “aggravated damages.” NW wrote the article last month. It said that Perry’s marriage was now in trouble because of the affair.
