GOSSIP: Mathew McConaughey Welcomes Little Girl!

Our society is so funny. Getting married is not even a thought anymore, esp in hollywood. Mathew McConaughey and his girlfriend have been together for a while. You would think they would get married but nope. They have a son already and now have welcomed a little baby girl. Cute but come on . . .

Matthew McConaughey is getting a life.

The Fool’s Gold star and girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed daughter Vida Alves McConaughey just after midnight Sunday.

“Happy New Year everybody!! On Sunday, Jan. 3rd at 12:13 a.m., Camila gave birth to a healthy 7lb. 7oz. baby girl,” McConaughey announced on his website. “Vida is Portuguese for ‘life’ and that’s what God gave us this morning.”

The bongo-playing star announced the couple would be expecting their second baby on Father’s Day last year. The couple are parents of 17-month-old son, Levi.

“We have more blessed news to celebrate this Father’s Day that makes this time next year double the fun. Levi is going to be a big brother,” the 40-year-old star said.

Both mother and child are doing well.
