GOSSIP: Employee Of Burger King Punches A 67 Year Old And He Dies
Source — An elderly Burger King customer died Thursday night after an argument with an employee came to blows, Detroit police said.
The 20-year-old fast food worker punched the 67-year-old man, causing him to fall, reported WJBK-TV. Emergency personnel rushed the victim to the hospital, where he later died.
Police said the punch may have caused the older man to choke on his dentures, but an autopsy is still pending to determine the cause of death. Police department spokeswoman Sgt. Eren Stephens declined to name either of the men involved in the case, and did not say when autopsy results were expected.
Authorities said it was not immediately clear why the two were arguing. The restaurant worker is in custody and could face criminal charges.
