Sacha Baron Cohen to play Freddie Mercury

Besides the genius of casting the guy who brought us Ali G, Bruno & Borat playing the Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, I am excited that the music of Queen will once again become popular with a new generation.  Remember how big “Bohemian Rhapsody” was after Wayne and Garth sang along to it in “Wayne’s World.”

I’ve been a Sacha Baron Cohen fan from when “Da Ali G Show” debuted on HBO.  He’s the only actor I think can pull off playing Freddie.
