NEWS: Glee Season 2 Has New Stars

The appropriately named Chord Overstreet will join “Glee” as a recurring character in its second season.

Overstreet, who has appeared on the hit Nickelodeon series “iCarly,” will play Sam, who begins as athlete Finn’s (Cory Monteith) protege but winds up as his competition.

The new season of “Glee” will feature other new faces, including Charice and John Stamos. Stamos will have a recurring role on “Glee.”

He is set to play a dentist who is dating guidance counselor Emma, played Jayma Mays.

There will also be episodes devoted to Britney Spears and “Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

Season 2 premieres on September 21.

Looks like “Glee” is trying to make an even more memorable second season! Until then….re-runs!
