GOSSIP: CBS Creating A Show Like “The View”?!?!?

CBS will replace “As the World Turns” with a daily panel talk show similar to “The View,” according to a report.

Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Holly Robinson Peete, Sharon Osbourne and Leah Remini will co-host the new series, which “focuses on topical events through the eyes of moms,” says Deadline.com. The show will originate from Los Angeles and is expected to debut in October.

The untitled program supposedly beat out a field of alternatives including an Emeril Lagasse cooking show and a new version of “Pyramid” hosted by Andy Richter.
