Vanessa Hudgens’ Father Passes Away Just HOURS Before She Performed In “Grease Live!”

I couldn’t imagine how tough last night was for Vanessa Hudgens.

She gave an incredible performance as Rizzo in “Grease Live!” on Fox, but what people might not have known before the show is that she had just lost her father hours before.

Before the show, she announced on Twitter that her 65-year-old dad, Greg Hudgens, had died from stage 4 cancer.

“I am so sad to say that last night my daddy, Greg passed away from stage 4 cancer,” she said. “Thank you to everyone who kept him in your prayers.”

And then she said, “Tonight, I do the show in his honor.”

Then, she put on one heck of a performance that her dad would have surely been proud of! Then, in a sweet gesture by Fox, at the end of the show they shared a dedication to her dad.
