Earlier this week, Jada Pinkett Smith released a video regarding her thoughts and frustrations on the lack of racial diversity in the Academy Awards nominees. AND revealing that she would be boycotting the Oscars this year all together.

Then, yesterday, her husband Will Smith finally spoke out on Good Morning America during a sit-down with Robin Roberts.
He said that he wasn’t home when Jada made the video, so it was as much of a surprise to him when it was released and social media started going wild. But he stands behind his lady, and he won’t be attending the Oscars this year either!
