GOSSIP: Could Bret Michaels Be The “Next” Simon Cowell?

Bret Michaels made his gallant return to the stage this weekend at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.

The Poison frontman surprised everyone by appearing (and performing) on the American Idol finale Wednesday night…but you could be seeing him on Idol again VERY soon!

Before he performed his classic tune, “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” Bret told the crowd:

“I can’t say this is true yet, cause I don’t know. Next year they asked me to possibly be the judge on American Idol.”

Two reasons why I think this will work:

1) He won’t come up with weird metaphors like “It was like listening to a giraffe in a candy store.”

2) He has to have more credibility than Ellen, right?
