DEVASTATING NEWS: TAYLOR SWIFT REVEALS MOM’S CANCER DIAGNOSIS IN EMOTIONAL LETTER TO FANS
Yesterday afternoon, I was scrolling through my Twitter when I saw the hashtag #PrayForMamaSwift trending, and I wasn’t sure what that was about until I clicked around and saw the terrible news that NO ONE ever wants to get.
Taylor Swifts mom, Andrea, has been diagnosed with cancer.

She revealed the news by posting a long letter to her fans on Tumblr, explaining that last Christmas she had asked her mom that one of her gifts to Taylor would be that she go in to her doctor and get herself screened for any health issues. Then, when the results came in, so did the bad news: she has cancer.
Taylor also explained that she wanted to keep the details of her mom’s condition and treatment plans private, but said “She just wanted you to know.”

Sort of makes you want to call your parents and ask them to get screened too, right? At least it did for me.
