Sooo, by now you most DEFINITELY have seen 1997’s blockbuster smash Titanic.
Unless you, in fact, actually DO live under an iceberg…
It’s got everything: Young Leo (*swoon*), Kate Winslet in period costumes, and a doomed ship.
But most important of all, it has Kathy Bates as the Unsinkable Molly Brown. She’s absolutely the best part of the movie.
Trust me on this. SHE’S A GOSHDAMN NATIONAL TREASURE.
Despite an insane amount of foreshadowing (we get it, the boat is going to sink) director James Cameron left the most ridiculous scene on the cutting room floor.
We see Kathy Bates, knocking back a drink like the boss b*tch she is, requesting some more ice. Gotta keep that scotch cold, BB.
BUT WAIT! What is that in the background? It couldn’t possibly be… BUT IT IS.
THIS IS NOT A GOOD TIME FOR A JOKE, CAMERON.
YUP, it’s the iceberg. How convenient. Kathy got JUST what she asked for: more ice, AND THEN SOME.
Get it? It’s ironic.
*lets out world’s longest sigh*
