I always said I would NEVER get a tattoo unless it was something that really meant something. Not like a boyfriends name or some misspelled deep quote in another language. And I know some people might think BFF tattoos are super hokey, but yes…I have a best friend tattoo.
I got it several months ago while visiting my best friend Tiffany in Nashville, TN, where she lives. We had talked about it for a long time until we decided to go do it and put a lot of thought into the design. We were all over Pinterest looking for inspiration, but the final design was actually drawn BY my BFF, which made it mean even more. We knew we wanted something travel themed with meaning, because we were from 2 different states and actually met randomly on the other side of the country many years ago. And we have been going on adventures ever since.
We actually got the idea for an anchor theme after going on our first cruise together. And it was perfect, because we wanted there to be a meaning to it. And the thought behind ours is from Hebrews 6:19. And here’s the pic:
