Last night a new Olympic women’s figure skating champion was crowned (Sorry boutcha Yuna Kim). And I’m guilty of making my boyfriend sit through all the routines (much to his dismay, obvi). But after a while, he got a little more into it and started asking lots of questions. Not that I’m a professional by any means, but my younger sister is a skater and I actually did skate for a few years during my childhood…hence this amazing photo of me at age 6 rocking a goldfish skating costume for a Little Mermaid-themed ice-show.
LOL…don’t judge me for the 80’s makeup either….I blame my mom.
SWAG. Hahahaha…
Anywho, like I said, my boo started asking lots of questions, from “How do they not get dizzy?” to “What did she mess up” to “She’s 15, why is her skirt so short…that’s gross., I don’t wanna see that” and even “Is Kristi Yamaguchi in this?” (<—-LMAO…a little late babe, by like 10 years).
But I’m sure he isn’t the only one with lots of questions while watching these little ice ballerinas do their thaaaang. In fact, I know he’s not the only one…thanks to this amazing list from our friends at Buzzfeed.
