Love This! College Renaming Itself after ‘Ron Burgundy!’
Emerson College in Boston is renaming its School of Communication after Will Ferrell’s Anchorman character, Ron Burgundy, according to its website. To coincide with the rechristening, Ferrell will visit the school in character to impart his journalistic wisdom to students. Burgundy will hold a news conference, attend the renaming ceremony, and introduce a screening of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, which officially hits theaters on December 20th. The naming ceremony will take place December 4th and stream live on Emerson’s website.
