GOSSIP: Katy Perry Tops Maxim’s Hot 100!
Katy Perry has a smokin’ new song with Snoop Dogg, and can now add something else to her resume…the number one spot on Maxim‘s annual Hot 100!
Maxim editor-in-chief Joe Levy tells Us Weekly that Perry was their top choice because she’s “a triple — no, quadruple — kind of hot. It’s that feeling you get when you suddenly realize that the smartest, funniest, coolest girl you know also happens to the best looking and a pretty good skateboarder, too. All of sudden, your crush goes supernova, and this is Katy’s supernova moment.”
And Katy beat out some pretty heavy hitters of hotness to tak the title! Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl (and Mrs. Andy Roddick) Brooklyn Decker took the runner-up spot, and Avatar’s Zoe Saldana claimed third. Blake Lively and Megan Fox rounded out the top five. Last year’s #1, House star Olivia Wilde, dropped to 20th in 2010.
