on July 25, DJ Khaled made headlines after he recorded a romantic message to Nicki Minaj, in which he asked the rapper for her hand in marriage.
Minaj hasn’t gone on record and said anything about the proposal, but she did have people asking questions Saturday when she stepped out to dinner in Beverly Hills on Saturday, July 27, with a new accessory around her ring finger.
On Thursday, Khaled said:
“I feel like you need a man like me in your life … we got the same symptoms, we’re both suffering from success,” he said in the video. “If you gotta take your time and think about it, I understand, but I know I have to be here today to let you know how serious I am and how serious this is to me.”
He then finished off his speech by asking Minaj to marry him..
Khaled then downed the rumors that Minaj filed for a restraining order against him. Saying that they “Don’t put restraining orders on bosses”
