Jennifer Aniston’s Stylist Was HIGH When He Gave Her the Iconic “Rachel” Haircut!
Inspiration comes from all sorts of places — and in the case of Jennifer Aniston and her iconic “Friends” haircut, it came from Mary Jane.
Yes, as in WEED.
Chris McMillan, the wizard behind Aniston’s coveted locks, admitted to being stoned in 1994 when he conceived the layered look that caused a sensation, better known as ‘The Rachel.”
“I’m 14 years sober, so I feel safe enough to say that,” McMillan laughed to Women’s Wear Daily. He didn’t say if Jen, um, “collaborated” with him at the time.
What they’ve definitely partnered up on is Living Proof, a hair care line that Aniston has a stake in. Life certainly hasn’t been one perfect hair moment after the next for the future Mrs. Justin Theroux.
“I’d only had mullets!” Aniston, 44, said of her pre-“Rachel” days.
“Or Astor Place haircuts [in downtown New York City] when you were a kid and you’d get those crazy, like, long at the front and shaved at the back. Oh, I just learned so many lessons from my youth of what not to do,” she said.
What not to do? As in…you should probably not let anyone do your hair while they’re high…unless you end up with a cut as iconic as “The Rachel”…then I guess it’s ok.
This DEF gives a whole new meaning to”Herbal” Essences….and explains why all the girls were so happy yelling “YES” in those shampoo commercials.
