Alex Pettyfer Cast As Christian Grey in “50 Shades of Grey” Movie

According to the gurus at HollywoodLife, Christian Grey has been chosen! A source extremely close to production confirmed that Alex Pettyfer has been selected to lead the steamy production.

Alex, 23, will take the lead, opposite of a to-be-cast Anastasia Steele, according to an insider . And it was also revealed that the movie will begin filming in Spring 2014 in London.

It was revealed by TheWrap.com that director Gus Van Sant recently shot a sexy passage from the book with Alex as the lead for his screen test.

The scene in question — filmed with an unidentified Anastasia – features Christian taking his lover’s virginity. And it sounds like he must’ve done something right, to land one of the steamiest roles to date!

So now we wait to see who will be cast as Anastasia Steele before we can get back to eagerly awaiting the cinematic release based on everyone’s favorite “mommy porn” book.
