Woman Chokes Boyfriend For Singing “Thrift Shop”

I don’t think the song is bad at all.  But I guess this lady did.  A 23 year old Colorado woman was arrested yesterday because her drunken boyfriend wouldn’t stop singing the lyrics to Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop” over and over after a long night out on the town.

According to the police report, Samantha Malson and her boyfriend, Lars Hansen–who celebrated his 26th birthday Saturday–were both inebriated when officers arrived at their apartment around midnight.

She briefly left the house, and when she got back, she “began to listen to Macklemore’s song ‘Thrift Shop,’ which Hansen was singing while laying on the couch.”

She asked him to stop singing it “25 times” before she took action into her own hands by Choking him.

She is free on bond now, and according to sources, doesn’t like the song.
