Lollapalooza Lineup Released

Lollapalooza officials have finally released the official word: The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, Mumford & Sons and New Order are among the headliners for the 2013 music festival in Chicago’s Grant Park on Aug. 4-6.

The somewhat anticlimactic Monday announcement ends months of speculationwhich, in recent days, had ramped up intensely amid leaks, rumors and credible industry confirmations.

Though organizers didn’t specify a reason for changing their widely-reported announcement date or acknowledge any of the reported leaks, the lineup reveal was bumped from April 9 to April 1.
