Lil Wayne HOSPITALIZED for Seizures…AGAIN!
Lil Wayne reportedly has been hospitalized…again.
According to TMZ, Wayne was hospitalized for seizures in Los Angeles this week. The rapper suffered a seizure on Tuesday after shooting a music video and was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital. (And by seizure, I mean REAL seizure….not the strange rolling-around-on-the-floor-screaming-into-a-mic behavior that he did on stage alongside 2 Chainz at the MTV Awards, which could be easily confused for a seizure.”
The 30-year-old is said to be doing better, but this isn’t the first time Wayne has been hospitalized for seizures.
On Oct. 25, his private plane had to make an emergency landing because he allegedly suffered a seizure-like attack while en route, according to a separate TMZ report. The rapper’s rep claimed he just had a migrane and was dehydrated. However, he was still put on seizure meds (in addition to WHATEVER substances he probably already puts in his body..)
However, on Oct. 26, he was hospitalized a second time after he reportedly suffered a seizure while on board another flight.
The following month Wayne finally admitted to MTV News that he was taking seizure medication and that doctors had ordered him to “drink four water bottles a day.”
Nicki Minaj later told MTV that the rapper is in good hands:
“Everybody that’s around him is taking care of him. Wayne has so many people around him that truly, genuinely love him. I’m not worried at all,” she said. “Even him being on the plane, thank God that there was somebody there right away that was able to help him. I’m just thankful that he was OK.”
On Tuesday, Wayne was with Minaj in California shooting the music video for her “Re-Up” single, “High School” and suffered the seizures Tuesday night after shooting the vid. He was subsequently taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital. Weezy was released several hours later, early Wednesday morning. We’re told he’s doing much better now.
So kiddies…before you go “popping mollys and sipping on the sizzurp” let this be a lesson to you…
