The Next “Bachelorette” REVEALED!

It’s official!

DESIREE will be the lucky lady filling Emily Maynard’s shoes on the newest season of ‘The Bachelorette’!

It was already reported by several gossip outlets that Desiree Hartsock‘s deal was as good as signed, and now its been revealed that she will be starring on the next season of The Bachelorette, starting May 20!

Sean Lowe‘s Bachelor ex has won the race to hand out the roses, and ABC will make an official announcement on the Bachelor finale on March 11.

A source close to Sean revealed “Desiree is confirmed to be the next Bachelorette.”

And Sean was rooting for her all along! “Although it didn’t work out with us, she’ll always have a place in my heart because she is such a lovable person,” Sean said to People Magazine on March 5. “I know Des has moved on, and I’m hoping she gets a second chance at love – maybe on the next season of The Bachelorette? She would definitely get my vote.”

Des, 26, was up against the other former contestants Lindsay Yenter, Lesley Murphy and AshLee Frazier but she is reigning victorious! An ABC spokesperson said on Feb. 26 that “No one has been picked yet.” Filming of The Bachelorette‘s new season begins in mid-March, so ABC obviously were under pressure to pick someone.

And they made the perfect choice! I was split between her and Sara, and would’ve been happy with either one.

But a bit of advice for Des: KEEP YOUR BROTHER FARRRRR AWAY THIS TIME!
