Dear Celebrities: Put your No-No parts away!!!

The Grammys and CBS have issued a ‘Wardrobe Advisory’ banning clothing that exposes sideboob, among other things, at the Feb. 10 telecast, according to Deadline.com revealed! I think this is such an absurd and unnecessary step for the network to take. Do they know what kind of show the Grammys is?

Have the people in charge of  The Grammys (airing on CBS on Feb. 10) lost their minds? Apparently, on Feb. 6, an e-mail from CBS Standards and Practices was sent to all presenters and performers at the upcoming telecast, advising them to “adhere to Network policy concerning wardrobe” — a policy that goes so far, it even bans sideboob. Whaaaaat?

This advisory is insane. Not only is the policy a serious overreach that unfairly targets women’s fashion, it’s written in the most strangely clinical terminology. “Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic,” the e-mail reads. Why do I feel like I’m in an awkward college anatomy class right now?

But it doesn’t stop there! “Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples. Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible “puffy” bare skin exposure,” it continues. What in the heck is  “visible, puffy bare skin”…is that like code for “camel toe” or something?

CBS, yall need to get it together.  The Grammys are supposed to be the fun, anything-goes awards show! You do realize your honorees are Rihanna and Katie Perry and not Dames Judi Dench and Maggie Smith, right? One of everyone’s greatest joys when we watch these shows are the crazy outfits and lets not even TALK about wardrobe malfunctions.

THIS IS AMERICA DANGIT!
